Have a look, very good, pass by... Be honest but not too modest. Dress properly. Don't shake hands with the interviewer until he/she extends his/her hand.A rolling stone gathers no moss.

Re: 2009 World Masters In Sydney. « Result #7 on Jan 3, 2009, 1:54pm »
Hi Everyone.
I thought I would send out another post again, just to see if there is any new news about teams/players that were still thinking about going to Sydney , Australia?
I have been informed that as of right now there is a team from Cornwall area going ( see http://www.eteamz.com/omf/index.cfm? for more info) and also there is team based out of the Woodstock/Ingersoll area trying to organize a team.
What I hope to see here is: - can people post some more information. -Are there any individuals looking for a team to play on?( in both the age divisions , 35+ and 45+) -I would also think that a team would be trying to do some fund raising. What are you doing?(your team is more than welcome to post it here if you wish) -If your looking for additional players- Post it here and see if we can help!?
I know that going to top tournament such as this ,is a big (and costly) thing to organize. So if we can help out in any way? Post away!!
I ,for one, am interested to here about this and I am sure there is more people interested out there too!
Thanks and looking forward to seeing some information posted!
Why is it so quiet out there?? « Result #9 on Oct 4, 2008, 2:22pm »
I thought this would catch someone's attention out there!
I know the season is really close to finishing and for some it is.(like me for one) But, I thought I would throw out this topic and generate some discussion for the Master age guys.
Let me know how you guys are thinking?
Some food for thought:
-What did you think of the new format at the OASA Master?(Niagara Falls) Good , bad or just plain ugly?
-Is Master fastball dying ( maybe a bad chioce of words-Hahaha!)
-New teams/players on the horizon?
-Restrictions to be made?
Just a start, but I hope there is some discussion.(and not just from a few of us)
2008 Season Wrapup « Result #10 on Oct 4, 2008, 2:12pm »
I first would like to say Congrats to the Glencoe Astro's for winning the STDFL playoff Championship!
They defeated the Belmont Sox's in this years finals and both teams played very well to make it to the finals.
The Astro's rode the strong arm of Shawn Winship all the way thru the playoffs. They combined timely hitting and great pitching to secure the championship and they should be very proud of their accomplishments.
They came out on top in the playoffs which saw some very good teams get left behind in the chase for the championships.
All of the teams/players in the STDFL league know this is a very difficult thing to achieve!
